How we review and compare betting products
A look at the criteria behind our comparisons, how editorial scores are formed, and what those scores do and do not mean.
Last updated: June 2026
Every product on QueenBetListis assessed the same way, so comparisons stay fair. We spend time with each sportsbook, work through the common betting journeys, and note what stands out — good and bad — rather than reacting to whichever promotion is running that week.
The criteria we use
- Market coverage: the range of sports and bet types, from mainstream football and racing to less common markets.
- Odds presentation: whether prices are clear, comparable and update reliably, particularly in-play.
- App and mobile usability: how easy it is to find markets and place bets on a phone or tablet.
- Bet builder and accumulators: the flexibility of same-game builders, multiples and coupons, where offered.
- Payment options: the deposit and withdrawal methods listed, and how clearly limits and timelines are explained.
- Terms transparency: how openly the operator presents its terms, including any promotion conditions.
- Responsible gambling visibility: how easy it is to find deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion tools.
How editorial scores are formed
Each product receives an editorial score out of five. It is a summary of how the product performs across the criteria above, weighted by what matters most for that type of sportsbook. The score is a comparison aid, not a precise measurement, which is why products land on different scores rather than all clustering together.
What a score is not
An editorial score is our own opinion. It is not official, not a regulatory rating, and not a guarantee of odds value, winnings, payouts or successful bets. We do not describe any operator as “officially the best”, and we avoid ranking language that suggests a guaranteed outcome.
Keeping reviews honest
Our reviews are original editorial notes written by the team, not customer testimonials. We do not publish invented personal stories or claim user reviews we cannot verify. Where we mention strengths, we try to balance them with the trade-offs, so you get a realistic picture.
Independence and funding
The way we score is kept separate from how we are funded. Affiliate commission does not raise a product’s score or soften a review. You can read more about that in our Affiliate Disclosure.
Updates
Sportsbooks change — markets, apps, payment methods and terms all move over time. We revisit products as needed, but the operator’s own site is always the definitive source, so check the current details directly before you register.
